What is a Synced Pattern?
A block, or a group of blocks, saved once and reused in many places, so editing it changes every copy at once. WordPress 6.3 renamed them; before that they were called Reusable Blocks. This plugin recognises both, and tells synced patterns apart from unsynced ones.
Why doesn’t WordPress show this already?
It just doesn’t. Core will let you edit a pattern used in thirty places without telling you it is used anywhere at all.
Is it genuinely free?
Yes. It is in the WordPress plugin directory with 5★ reviews, and there is no paid tier. Install, activate, done – no configuration required.
Will it slow down a large site?
No. Counts load asynchronously and are cached, and you can filter the list by post type.
